This past week, we did not take any new shots, but played around with the many effects on photoshop and picmonkey. For the first picture, I went on picmonkey and used the Cross Process effect and added the words on to the chalk lines. Also with picmonkey, I edited the words to make it curve with the lines. For the second picture, again I went to picmonkey to edit the picture. This photo was previously black and white, but I added the effect Intrepid and then added the words. This picture was colored before but I edited on picmonkey and used the black and white effect, then I added the words along her back. For the burger picture, I first went to picmonkey and used the Cross Process effect, then went to photoshop and played with the many filters and I finally chose the Cutout effect. For the comic strip image, I used Cross Process on picmonkey and then went on photoshop and used the Poster Edges effect. I used the exact effects as the comic strip with the next image of the leaf. The next image of the railing was previously in black and white, but I went on picmonkey and used Cross Process and Intrepid. I toned down the effects and then went to photoshop and chose Poster Edges and Color Pencil and played with the colors. The next image of the flower, I went to pickmoney and used the Cross Process effect, then went to photoshop and used the effect Glowing Edges. The next picture of the portrait, I used Intrepid and then went to photoshop and used the Stained Glass effect. With the last two pictures, I did the exact same. I went to picmonkey and used the Cross Process effect and then used Boost, but I boosted it twice. Then lastly I went to photoshop and again used the Stained Glass effect. This assignment really helped me to learn more about how to completely change the effects of an image. I got to explore and find out new ways of using picmonkey and photoshop.
Great photos Caleigh! Some of the special effects I liked that you used were cross process and intrepid. I like how you took some of your images using depth. I think your strongest is the fourth one of the leaf. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I really liked the 7th one with the rail! Using multiple mixes of filters form Picmonkey and Photoshop really makes a good edit for an image! Great job!
ReplyDeleteCALeighh your photos are really nice! I like the sixth one the best. All of the edits you made on the original image clearly makes it better. The mood I feel is confused, but in a good way. great job
ReplyDeleteAwesome work this week, Caleigh! I think you did a really good job with putting the words into your pictures in interesting ways. My favorite photo would have to be the one with the burger, it makes it look like a cartoon and makes me want to eat it ahaha :) Good job!
ReplyDeleteGreat work Caleigh! You did a really good job picking effects, using different editing tools and applying filters to your photos. My favorite would have to be the one with Sasha in it. I really feel like the words really connect for the photo, you couldn't have made them fit more perfectly! The black and white, font, and placement of the words all tie in together for a very empowering photo. I also love the excitement in the last few photos. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are gorgeous! I especially love the hamburger picture. I don't know what effects you used but you made the picture look so cool. Great job!
