This past week, we did not take any new shots, but played around with the many effects on photoshop and picmonkey. For the first picture, I went on picmonkey and used the Cross Process effect and added the words on to the chalk lines. Also with picmonkey, I edited the words to make it curve with the lines. For the second picture, again I went to picmonkey to edit the picture. This photo was previously black and white, but I added the effect Intrepid and then added the words. This picture was colored before but I edited on picmonkey and used the black and white effect, then I added the words along her back. For the burger picture, I first went to picmonkey and used the Cross Process effect, then went to photoshop and played with the many filters and I finally chose the Cutout effect. For the comic strip image, I used Cross Process on picmonkey and then went on photoshop and used the Poster Edges effect. I used the exact effects as the comic strip with the next image of the leaf. The next image of the railing was previously in black and white, but I went on picmonkey and used Cross Process and Intrepid. I toned down the effects and then went to photoshop and chose Poster Edges and Color Pencil and played with the colors. The next image of the flower, I went to pickmoney and used the Cross Process effect, then went to photoshop and used the effect Glowing Edges. The next picture of the portrait, I used Intrepid and then went to photoshop and used the Stained Glass effect. With the last two pictures, I did the exact same. I went to picmonkey and used the Cross Process effect and then used Boost, but I boosted it twice. Then lastly I went to photoshop and again used the Stained Glass effect. This assignment really helped me to learn more about how to completely change the effects of an image. I got to explore and find out new ways of using picmonkey and photoshop.
