Motion

This week's assignment, we had to test and play around with motion. Our goal was to capture an object in motion and see how the picture turns out.  Through this project, I was able to learn more about how the camera can capture specific moments. By changing the aperture and shutter speed, it made it easy for me to catch the picture in motion.  My first four photos were regular motion pictures and my last three photos are motion pictures, but through light painting.

Repitition/Foreground and Background

For this assignment, we had to take on two tasks.  The first task was to learn more about depth within the photo using repitition and the second task was to learn how to use foreground and background.  The first five photos are depth through repitition and the last three are foreground and background. My goal for the foreground and background was to have a clear immage in the front and to have blurry/vague immage in the back.

Depth: Leading Lines

This week, we had to find images that create depth with leading lines.  Within the picture, there is a main line that needs to be followed into the picutre.  My goal was to find images with lines that leads into a nice background.  I want the viewer to see the lines and follow it into the background of the picture.

Rule of Thirds

In this project, we had to capture pictures using the rule of thirds.  Within the frame, the object that I had to focus on needed to take up a third of the frame.  When one looks at the picture, they had to be focussing on the object itself.  My goal was to bring out the object's color so the viewer would see more of the object than the background.
